I had the honor of interviewing San Francisco collector Maurice Gregg for the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts Council Newsletter in the inaugural series "Collector Profile." Gregg has generously gifted his entire American Abstract Art Collection to the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Built over several decades the collection of prints, drawings and original paintings is considered to be one of the finest in the country and establishes the FAM as a leader in this period. You can read the lively interview here.

I was honored to be on the Selection Committee for the inaugural StARTup Art Fair May 1 - 3, 2015. Co-Founders Ray Beldner and Steve Zavattero believe in the viability of San Francisco and the Bay Area as an important visual art center. stARTup Art Fair provides a new avenue for the creative longevity of the visual artist, providing a marketplace that gives the artist the power to present and sell work -- and keep 100% of their sales proceeds -- on their own terms. The fair will present over 40 contemporary artists from across the country.
